It provides a warmer, richer sound profile that modern smartphones and Bluetooth connections simply cannot replicate.

How do I put music on this player? Just like the golden era of audio! Your custom unit works perfectly with Apple’s ecosystem. You can easily sync your MP3 or lossless audio files using iTunes on Windows, or directly through the Finder/Apple Music app on modern Macbooks. Just plug it in using the provided 30-pin USB sync cable.

What is the battery life like on these custom units? The original 2006 batteries were tiny (around 400mAh) and degraded quickly. We completely remove them and install massive 3000mAh extended batteries in our builds. Combined with the power efficiency of the new solid-state storage (no more spinning hard drives), you can expect phenomenal battery life that lasts for weeks on a single charge.
